These terms do not supersede statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Acts 
but are designed to clarify the principles and procedures by which we operate. 
Every care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and specifications 
are correct on this website. However, while the colours displayed are a close 
representation, slight variations in the actual goods may occur.

 

PAYMENT and PAYMENT METHODS

All prices shown in this website are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP).
Prices may vary slightly from other stockiest.

WorldPay processes all online payments.

Suzanne Goodwin does not store any of your credit card details on the website.

If a cheque is your preferred method of payment please send us your order by using the form on the Contact page.

All cheques must be made payable to Suzanne Goodwin with your cheque card
 guarantee number on the reverse. Payment must be received from the customer 
in full before the goods are dispatched.

Your items will be sent to you once your cheque has cleared.

We like to make ordering from us as simple as possible. Once you have placed and paid for your order we will confirm your order by email and advise you of a delivery date.
Delivery charges will be added to the customer’s order total or as quoted.
Royal Mail Post or a registered courier will make Delivery.
Delivery on all orders are ex-works. Our Postage rates are displayed on our website and are subject 
to change without notice. However, once we have accepted your order we will not 
change the price that applies to such an order.

DELIVERY

Most product are made to order so please allow 3-5 days delivery
 time. If you have any questions or any special delivery requirements 
please contact us directly via the Contact page.

STOCK AVAILABILITY

All products are handmade and finished.
Please allow 1-2 weeks delivering time.

RETURNS

All our goods are hand made with lots of TLC. We hope you will be delighted with
them. However if for some reason you are not you may return them to us in the
original packaging within 7 days. No goods can be returned without prior notice.
Post and packaging costs are not refundable.
We will be happy to issue a credit note or exchange of goods to the same value
of original purchases.

 

PROOF OF POSTING

For your own protection, you are strongly advised to obtain a proof of posting, 
for shipping certificate from a courier, when returning goods whatever the reason 
for the return. Goods, which are returned to us but are lost in shipping, remain 
your responsibility. A proof of posting will assist you in tracking any shipment 
which is reported as lost, damaged, mislaid or otherwise undelivered/undeliverable.

 

DAMAGE & LOSS IN TRANSIT

Occasionally, unfortunately, things do get lost or damaged in transit. If this happens with your shipment, please advise us and we will supply replacement goods as quickly as we can. However, since we never knowingly ship damaged goods we need your help to try to recover our costs from the carrier wherever possible. If you do receive damaged goods, please retain all relevant documentation so that an insurance claim can be made against the carrier’s insurers. If you receive a battered parcel, note the fact on the delivery note, even before you open the package to examine the contents. If you are unable to open the damaged package 
in the presence of the carrier, make sure that you sign for it as ‘Damaged package; goods not yet inspected’ or similar to warn the carrier that a claim may be forthcoming. Whatever the circumstances, please contact us from the Contact page with as much detail of the damage or loss as you can provide, as soon after delivery 
as possible, so that we can arrange replacement goods and start following up the carriers.

Please do NOT return damaged goods, unless and until requested to do 
so as this may incur additional costs unnecessarily.

 

DUTIES & TAXES

Purchasers are responsible for any duties and/or taxes levied at the point of entry into the destination country. Suzanne Goodwin accepts no responsibility 
for any delay in clearing the products at customs.

 

PAYMENT AND RETENTION OF TITLE

Under normal circumstances, goods must be paid for prior to dispatch. If, for any reason, goods are shipped prior to clearance of payments, title in the goods shipped belongs to Suzanne Goodwin until we receive payment in full for the goods. Please note that on-line transactions are normally actioned automatically whilst you are online to the secure transaction server.

 

CONFIDENTIALLITY

We undertake to exercise all reasonable precautions to keep information supplied 
to us by customers strictly confidential. We do not supply our ‘mailing information’ to third parties but douse it to advise our clients of goods and services we feel may be of interest to them, 
unless expressly instructed otherwise in writing. Information supplied to us may 
be stored on a computer system for our convenience, but will not be supplied to any outside agency. We prefer you to use the secure transaction services to make credit card transactions since this service is completely independent of our organization and your credit card details are not divulged to us at any time. Applicable Law and Courts of Jurisdiction: All transactions undertaken through this website are governed by English Law and any legal actions arising out of such transactions shall be subject to the English Legal processes and under 
the jurisdiction of English Courts.

MEDIATION

In the event of disagreement between Suzanne Goodwin and her clients, which cannot be mutually resolved in a reasonable time period, the Institute of Directors (UK) may be asked by either party, subject to the agreement of the other party to the dispute, to appoint a mediator to settle the dispute before bringing the matter into the legal process. In this event, both parties agree to be bound by the decisions of such mediator and mediation process.

 

ERRORS

Every effort is made to ensure that al the information provided on the Suzanne Goodwin website is correct at the time of going on line. If we discover an error relating to your order, we will contact you as soon as possible to advise you of the error and confirm that you still wish to proceed.

 

GENERAL

No order is binding on you or Suzanne Goodwin until we have accepted it. You will own The items we supply you form the moment they are put in the hands of the postal service, or on payment in full of the price of the items and any delivery charge, which ever is later. These terms and conditions cannot be varied by you or us unless made in writing and signed by both parties.
